The Mammut Trion 50 is an all round mountaineering pack for big days out in the Alps and UK mountains. The Trion 35 combines all the features of a Mountaineering pack with some additional ease of use you would expect from a travel pack. Constructed from 210D Cordura ripstop nylon with a super durable 810D Ballistic nylon base the Trion can withstand pretty much anything you can throw at it. As well as the top drawcord entry under the floating lid, there is a large rear access which allows fast access to the entire inside of the pack. This is especially useful when setting up camp or arriving at the hut as it allows you to get to items stored at the bottom of the pack immediately.
The back system is made from 3-D EVA foam with stamped air channels for excellent ventilation, both the straps and waist belt are padded for comfort over long days. The shoulder straps also feature mesh pockets large enough for a mobile phone or soft flask. The removable padded hip belt is comfortable and features gear loops. The sides of the pack have mesh pockets for a water bottle or map, while in winter there's a reinforced side strap for carrying skis. On the outside of the pack there are carry systems for 2 trekking poles and 2 ice axes with a pick pocket to keep sharp picks out of the way.
